The procedure consists of the extraction of blood from the patient followed by a differential centrifugation in which the different blood components are separated into 3 phases. Platelets and leukocyte components remain in the middle layer or buffy coat. This is extracted and then reinjected into the areas to be treated: Face, neck, décolleté, hands or scalp. The results are appreciable from the first days since its completion, lasting approximately one year.
It is a minimally invasive treatment, ambulatory and with the advantage of not generating allergic reactions to the skin since the material injected comes from the same patient (autologous treatment).
PRP has several benefits on damaged skin: It restores cutaneous vitality, increases its thickness, recovers elastic consistency, improves vascular inflow, stimulates secretions and increases the smoothness and appearance of the skin.
